Felix and Winnie have officially started their next chapter — moving all the way from Melbourne to Poland with their owners.

International travel with assistance animals is never “just book a ticket and go.” It takes planning, compliant documentation, and careful coordination so the dogs can travel safely, legally, and with the right on-board arrangements in place. For Felix and Winnie, we worked alongside their owners to help get everything lined up correctly for the move, including the key paperwork and travel requirements needed for their journey from Australia to Europe.
That meant stepping through the process methodically and making sure nothing was missed: confirming what the airline required for in-cabin travel, ensuring the assistance animal documentation matched the travel conditions, and helping the owners put together the right supporting documents so the dogs could fly on board with them — not separated, not treated as standard pets, and not exposed to unnecessary stress during a long international relocation.
Now that they’ve arrived, Felix and Winnie are experiencing something completely new: their first real snow.
By all reports, it’s been equal parts curiosity and confusion. They’re exploring, sniffing, and doing that classic “what is this stuff?” pause — but they’re also discovering that Poland in winter is a very different environment to Melbourne. Sub-zero temperatures are no joke, and they’re not entirely convinced yet that icy air and freezing paws are a good idea.
We love seeing outcomes like this: owners supported, assistance animals protected, travel handled properly, and the team staying together for the whole journey — right through to settling into a new home on the other side of the world.
Felix and Winnie, welcome to your snow era.
